Sound Design Showreel 2021
The first two videos are extracts from the virtual reality game TRIP in which the player embodies Albert Hoffman when he discovers LSD. The game was developed by Agora Immersive Studios in 2020. For this game I created and implemented all the sounds via Fmod in Unity. The third video is a sound redesign of an extract from Nier:Automata in which the character destroys a mechanical NPC. The fourth video is a sound redesign of an extract from the trailer of GRIME, a video game developed by Clover Bite and released in 2021. The fifth video is a gameplay extract of Ghostrunner. Developed by One More Level and released in 2020.
TRIP is a VR experience in which the player incarnated Albert Hofmann during his discovery of LSD. I recorded and designed the assets. I was for this project in charge of the recording, editing, sound design and implementation of all the audio for the experience.
The paper documenting the creation of the project is available here:
Vroom is an online poker training platform for which I recorded and designed all the sounds. The creator of the platform needed some short sounds, easily noticeable, with a sci-fi/ futuristic aesthetic.
Viking Village audio production, recording of Foley, location recordings, dialogues and sound design, implementation through the audio middleware Fmod in Unity. The video includes a part with the music system on and off. The music system is adaptive, as well as the audio mix.
Redesign of the audio for the video game Gris. I developed the minimalist design of the game by using sparse but informative and aesthetic sound designs.
Redesign of the audio for the trailer of the game Grime. Heavily processed bee recordings, as well as stones and rocks, and a few layers of synthesizers.
Current project: The Seventh Wave is a VR game developped for Arte's game jam in March 2020. I was in charge of the sound design, music production and implementation. More info at : https://daweys.itch.io/the-seventh-wave
